or a popup appears asking to confirm you wish to shut off stealth mode and risk being destroyed by the rather large cannons at the docking entrance. or emit a sound to represent auto docking is disabled whilst in stealth mode. YOU WILL BREAK Glide if you point your nose up during a glide, barrel roll, over steep turns etc this will drop you at your current posistion. Ignore the key press because auto docking is disabled whilst in stealth mode. Glide STOPS when your close to the surface of the planet.now becareful with this lol.It is pretty safe to say that even going as steep as you can in an Anaconda, full A fit engines etc on a 6g + world will exit glide safelty.BUT will probably smash into the surface shortly after.Point is glide will always stop when your close to the surface, and i am not sure but it feels different on different sized g worlds, some 4km, some 7km above the surface.so make sure before your glide is about to end, that your lined up safetly and not upside down etc. or go slightly steeper down to reach the ground quicker. When you line up properly and approach your desired planetary landing site at the right speed, you will drop into the atmosphere. When the glide begins its actually fairly simple, keep your current heading.and slowly glide down. The first stage is same as normal - enter. Then, select 'mission board' (or something like that) on the left side in the window that comes up and basically takes up all of your forward. When youre docked, select 'starport services' from the docking menu. However for safety and entering a good glide, at 7 seconds to go, hit 75 % Hotkey and you wont overshoot the glide.or planetÄepending on the mass/size of the planet I believe indicates when your DRP for glide will start on the right, well the altitute for it.just before you are about to hit DRP make sure you are lined up, not to steep, and like above says.Space above you, and ground below you, like an aircraft.but still decreasing altitude. When landing on a planet, we will go through a couple of different stages before we can land on the surface or a base. You finish a mission the same way you (usually - dont know about the first mission) start it: on the mission board. I find its best (If you wanna play always safe) Set a hot key for 75 % Engine when approaching a planet (works even better with stations at 7 seconds to go) For planets you can actually go faster, alot faster then 7 seconds since you slow down naturally from the planets mass slowing you down. Simple, combination of two things, first I like this game and I am familiar with it and secondly this is a game that has a 3D rendered perspective GUI that. This is not covered in the tutorial and not mentioned anywhere but applies to all landing pads. In order to dock your ship on the right pad it must first and foremost ALWAYS be facing the control tower in front of the landing pad. Depending on your ship/gravity too, remember that later for when you get the hang on entering planets. Here is a big tip for all you new CMDRS out there.
